TIA requires office space to house the KwaZulu-Natal Regional Office to adequately support all of its activities and operations in this province. It is a requirement that the office be located in and around the city of Durban to be able to cater for key clients including higher education institutions, investors, fledgling entrepreneurs and targeted industry as a whole. One of the major obstacles is the lack of a properly resourced, coordinated approach towards incorporating genomics into breed management.

TIA is looking to source Servers and Storage to build the infrastructure to enable and support business requirements for the next 5-year period. The scope covers Head Office, DR Site, and 8 regional locations. As part of this project TIA will upgrade to the latest version of VMware vSphere and acquire and comply with relevant license requirements. TIA will award the project to a provider who is also able to provide maintenance and support services on the infrastructure specified.
